Jones, George H., M. D., physician and surgeon, Lutcher, La., has been connected
with the
Lutcher-Moore Lumber Co., during the past 15 years. He is local surgeon,
also, for the
Yazoo & Mississippi Valley R. R. and medical examiner for the Woodmen of the
World, Knights
of Pythias and the New York Life Insurance Co. The doctor took an active
part in the
organization of the Bank of Lutcher, and is a stockholder in that institution.
Dr. Jones'
father, also a physician, was the founder of the insane asylum at Jackson, La.,
and during
many years past has been widely and favorably known to the profession throughout
Louisiana
and elsewhere.
